Challenge: Overcome the constituents' isolation in terms of services.

Although the population of the Evreux East canton increased by 10% in just 10 years, the region has no healthcare professionals (no nurse, physician, dentist or physiotherapist) or local services (no childcare facilities, no post office). This multi-service centre project contributes to attracting and maintaining the population in rural areas.

To make this rural region more attractive and improve quality of life, the following was implemented within a 550m² building: an inter-communal post office, a nurse's practice, a childminder, premises for associations and after-school activities and a covered marketplace. The building has been classified as low-energy, thanks in part to the use of photovoltaic panels.

The Val David multi-service centre was inaugurated in March 2013.
