To address the specific nature and needs of the territory (highly seasonal nature, terrain, road network), the SYVADEC created a "multi-activity" waste drop-off centre: residual waste transfer platform, recycling centre and sorting transfer platform.

The project was planned in accordance with an environmentally-friendly policy through all stages, including design, works and operation.

  • Works carried out while the site is in operation to guarantee public service continuity.
  • Environmental aspects taken into account during the works phases.
  • Implementation of the necessary arrangements to comply with ICPE - classified facilities for environmental protection - regulations (runoff water collection and treatment, fire safety, etc.) as well as the French Labour Code.
  • Regeneration of the old landfill site.
  • Removal of scrap end-of-life vehicles from the site.
